Romans

When someone is saved they are automatically delivered from any evil spirit when they put their faith in Jesus. Every person before they are saved is under the power of satan, some more than others. before Paul knew Christ he did delight in Gods law. We can know this from Phil. 3:6. He says he was faultless when it came to the law. That is what most of Romans is about is him trying to show other Jews clearly how much the law is powerless to save them. Paul says "who will rescue me from this body of death." That is what non Christians are crying out. His answer is that Jesus saves him, and saves him from himself. And it says Jesus set him free from this law of sin and death, referring to when Jews tried to follow the law apart from Christ. There is a teacher called Watchman Nee that I would like to warn everyone about. I have some very strong opinions about him, that he teaches heresy really. His teachings are almost Catholic and very works based. My mom was in his cult for about 12 years of her life when I was little. It was called the local church. I think he teaches a lot of false doctrine. So beware of any of his teachings. :(
