IF

There are three ifs in 1st John....1:7 "If we walk in the light....the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanseth us from all sin." 2:3 "Hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments." 2:24 "If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father." Lots of ifs. Like Jesus says in rev. "To him who overcomes, to him will I give the crown of life." The Christian walk is not floating down the lazy river, it is climbing Pikes peak or mt. Everest. James says "Show me ur faith without deeds and I will show u my faith by what I do." What we do does matter. Don't think that it doesn't.
