Here are some poems I wrote in college. :)
Bubbles
Children are like bubbles, floating free in the air
They are weightless, careless, beautiful.
Children understand God clearly;
The waters of understanding become murky for adults,
But children see God crystal clear.
Like a virgin mountain lake, untouched by the pollution of cities.
Jesus said, "Unless you come to me as a child
you have no place in the kingdom of heaven."
We need to become innocent, trusting, loving again.
With age our innocence gets chipped away
Like paint off an old, rusty car.
Our beauty fades as we get scared by the world.
Life becomes a boxing ring and we just take hit after hit.
As Hamlet said “who can bear the whips and scorns of time”
We loose our wonder and awe
We become cold and heartless
Do you still have your whole heart?
Are you still capable of real selfless, trusting love?
Where does our heart go? Where does our passion for life go?
Sometimes our innocence is dormant, like a flower under the snow in winter.
But the wonderful warm rays of summer help it blossom.
The snow melts away and we stretch our leaves to heaven,
Embrace our heavenly father who loves us beyond understanding.
We learn to trust again and love again.
We learn that the world isn’t so cruel, people can be trusted.
We remember what it was like to be a child, innocent and tender.
And we float away like a bubble on the wind,
weightless and careless
again.
Alaska
I saw God in Alaska.
In the snow top mountains and dense forests.
In the massive blue whales and ice bergs.
Alaska is charged with the grandeur of God.
His glory radiates from his untouched creation there.
His power can be seen in the majesty.
Words do not suffice for the breath taking beauty of Alaska.
Hawaii
Snorkling with rainbow colored fish.
Chasing a sea turtle around for miles.
Riding down the highway with the windows down, cruising.
Having fun with my cousins, flying kits and swimming.
Taking pictures of every sunset, every day.
Enjoying living in a tropical paradise,
even if it was only for a few months. :)
Sublimity
At the darkest hour of night
Look to the horizon and you might
See that the sky and sea blend into one
Darkness of the sky matches where the sun
Has gone to lighten the other side of earth
Such a sublime sight may give birth
And inspire a feeling of solemnity
While the sea thus depicts God's divinity
As it seems to stretch on and on for eternity
Strain your eyes as strenuously as you can
You will not see the end or the span
Of how vast the sea is at night
The dark body of water that rolls out of sight.
Calcutta
Smell of garbage cans overflowing
Rancid sweat and incense glowing.
No rest from the sweltering heat
Stumbling along with heavy feet.
I could squeeze the air;
Ring out the water there.
Puddles in the muddy streets
Rickety carts come in fleets.
Cows meander across the roads.
Pedestrians burdened by heavy loads.
Natives clad in Punjabis dance
To the rain god as if in a trance
As the rain comes pouring down.
4th of July
Warm, windy night
Lighter flame wavered
With hands cupped tight
Baby flame savored
Firework fountains
elevated on a ladder high
Sparks fall in mountains
whizzing like a zipping dragonfly
Chinese Flowers spin and zoom
like miniature Tasmanian Devils
Their buzz and squeal loom
In the air; an epitaph of their revels.
The Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon holds
A waterfall of incredible splendor.
Its waters cascade, forcing molds
In the rocky cliff.
While its tender spray caresses the swimmers below.
It gives birth to an oasis
A lush topical paradise.
Beyond the main pond where the waters collide
There is a smaller pond
With millions of tiny bubbles.
The next pond is bereft of disturbance, of troubles;
Remaining serene and tranquil.
A tropical paradise at the bottom
of the Grand Canyon.
Winter on a Pond
The air is still;
All is quiet.
No birds chirp,
Nor do squirrels scamper;
No cricket or locust siren to fill the noiseless sky.
A girl skates on a lake of ice;
The water frozen in ripples,
Its surface frozen in place.
The air is still.
The virgin hills
Glitter in a snowy cloak all around her.
Everything slows down in winter;
Becomes silent.
The girl can be alone with her thoughts here.
She finally finds peace.
Building a Fort
Mountains of snow
Glitter glistening on trees.
Gathering branches, and arranging them tight
Making a fire on our knees.
Watching a fox scamper through the forest.
Whose bushy white tail waves
As he dashes through the trees.
A Couch and Chairs (based on a picture)
Drawn uniformly in a row
Their appearance is mechanical;
Straight cushions, creaseless coverings.
Chairs that are not inviting
Which no one has ever sat in.
Pencil shaded couch.
Blank white chairs.
The look of being empty and alone.
All is fragmented, disconnected, cold.
"Blessed are Those that Leave
Mother and Brother for my Sake"
She whimpers goodbye to her mother,
Both drowning in irrepressible tears.
"Don't forget to call," sobs the mother.
They clutch each other in a parting embrace.
The leaders speak of the destination
And talk of things like culture shock and foreign food.
"They'll think you're like the women
in the movies," the leader warns them.
The girls fidget nervously as they wait
For their flight to take off.
Finally they arrived in India
After stops in Korea and Thailand
As they exit the airport people stare,
With looks that say, "You don't belong here."
"Why are they looking at us that way,"
thinks the girl.
The team rides in the reckless car
Past the shabby and moldy buildings
To their stone slab that they
Will call their bed for the next week.
Alone
Dark sky, dead land, alone.
Cold, windy, barren, forsaken.
Colorless, lifeless, less than
She wanted.
No one is here.
The wind howls all around her
Lonely body forsaken
On an empty plain.
Youth
When we were young
The world was at our command
It snowed for us, it rained
For us, the lightning bugs
Lit up the forest for us.
Maturity came when we realized
It was not all for us.
Haiku Poems
The twinkling lightning bugs illumine the dark forest.
The seagulls' bellies reflect the pink sunset.
The child spied the baby lions at play.
A leaf falling from the sky twirls and swirls.
Snow fell silently and gracefully.

Starting a Family
I'm pregnant! yay..... lol :)
Ben and I will be moving to Texas soon. And then maybe Colorado in two years. It has been both of our life long dreams to live in Colorado so that will be cool. :)
He will be getting a CDL and drive trucks locally while I start raising 6 kids, that's the goal anyways. :) I'm so excited.
I am planning to homeschool, at least until each kid reaches high school. Then I will trust them to fend for themselves and make good choices. :)
I think kids are too easily corrupted at school by class mates these days. Also now there is tons of violence in schools; kids getting beat up all the time. It's so sad. :( There is even sexual abuse happening in schools. Unbelievable. Where are the teachers is what I want to know? But it is hard to closely monitor hundreds of kids at a time. I know, I have worked with kids a lot.
For me growing up school was always a safe place. Home was not safe, but school was. I always loved all my teachers and all the subjects. I was never picked on for anything or beat up. I always loved learning and I always had good friends at school. School was always where I was most happy.
But sadly, and I blame MTV, schools are not what they used to be. So homeschooling will be good. :) I homeschooled a 4th grader for a few months in every subject and enjoyed that. Homeschooling six kids at the same time in different grades will be a challenge but fun. :) I certainly won't be bored lol which is the goal.
I'm so excited to invest all that I am in these new kids we will have. I pray everything goes well with the pregnancy etc. And may God help us find the best place to live in Texas and then Colorado. :) Amen.

Abuse
My dad who did something to me when I was a kid was just convicted of molesting another kid. I knew this would happen eventually sadly. Here's a video I made to be used in court against him so he doesn't hurt anymore kids. Please pray for the kid or kids he hurt. :( so sad. Watch if you would like to or have known anyone who was sexually abused etc....

Working
Life is good :)
I am working full-time finally again. After 7 months of not working at all. It feels good. I find it to be very hard sometimes but I know it is
good. I keep thinking of that part in
Joyce Meyer’s sermon on “Don’t Go There” when she says, “no discipline for the
present seems joyous but later on it produces fruit and perseverance.” The fruit of working will obviously be a
paycheck but also more faith in myself that I can endure hard things.
Work is where we prove ourselves isn’t it? It’s where we find out what we are really
made of. We don’t know how much patience
we are capable of until it is tested yes?
Yes. :)
Working with 8 or 15 small kids at a time requires a lot of
patience. And apparently I have what it
takes, which is good to know. Lol :)
I have always had a lot of respect for pre-school teachers,
because that is such a hard age. Some
people say, “It’s just working with kids.
It can’t be that hard.” But those
are the people who have never done it. Lol
3 year olds are by far the hardest. We are born with original sin right? So working in a pre-school is like working with
a bunch of wild stallions and trying to train them. The book Boundaries says that everything a
person needs to learn about respecting self and others they need to learn by
the age of three, or life will be much harder for them if they don’t learn
it. Therefore working with two year olds
is perfect and is the most significant thing anyone could do really, because
that is the training ground for life.
The best thing about work being somewhat hard is I have no
desire to blow my money I worked so hard for.
So that is a major plus. :)
I had the hardest time the other day with a two year old girl
who was crying for about 40 minutes at nap time. It actually made me cry, because her crying
was so sad. She was crying like she was
seeing Satan himself or being tortured by little demons or something. It was the strangest thing and her crying
sounded just horrible. :( I also cried because I felt powerless to help
her. I tried to comfort her but it didn’t
seem to work. She just moved here from
China so she is a bit disoriented. She
is very cute though. :) May God show me how to help her. Amen :)
I am now in the 2 year old room mostly which I really like. They are so much more independent and capable
of more, obviously, then the one year olds.
They can actually sing songs with me, which is fun. They are just the cutest little things when
they are all singing and doing motions to songs.
They seem to be very eager to learn too. Like they always want to look at books and
learn new words etc.
I love this age so much!
May God give me wisdom and patience with them. I find it to be a very rewarding job and I am
enjoying it a lot so far. I also enjoy
the challenge. :) But the easy times are nice too. :)
Grace and peace be with you! :)

My College Life
Yes I am bragging in this blog lol check out all the cool classes I took in college :) yay....and I was on the Dean's List. lol I didn't even know that. I knew I graduated Cum Laude which I was proud of but there def were a few C's in there lol oh well.....I was quite bummed about each C but college is not as easy as high school, obviously lol. But this is to prove my credentials to anyone reading my blogs or watching my videos. See, I am intelligent lol. :) Praise God for all the classes he blessed with being able to take and pass. :) Amen :)
Looking over this again I notice it was the semesters when I was in some sport, basketball or swimming, that I did the best academically. That is because we as humans consist of four parts to our soul or being. We cannot just focus on the mental and forget about physical, emotional or spiritual needs. I chose a Christian college, even though it was 25K a semester to attend!, to grow spiritually while I was growing mentally. And I did! I went to chapel about 3 times a week plus church on the weekends at Mariners in Irvine. I read all about the church fathers and church history in the Torrey Honors program I was in. That aspect of Biola was amazing! I loved the chapel times so much! :) I enrolled in the choir to grow emotionally. Music has always made me supremely happy. Life without music is so so sad. Post college I have been quite addicted to listening to Hillsong worship music on my itunes 24/7. I love the band Hillsong so much! They are the only "good" Christian music I feel at least. Most other Christian music is very cliche and predictable with the same lyrics and easy melodies. It just frustrates me usually lol. But Hillsong tries at least to revolutionize the Christian music industry I feel. That was why I went to Australia recently, to be closer to their genius lol. Their church is pretty amazing for sure. :)
I would love to sing in a choir again somehow. My dream really is to be a worship leader someday like Kari Jobe, but who knows. God's will be done. Check out her leading the Revelation Song with Gateway on youtube. That video blows me away every time, seeing how into it everyone is! What a thrill that would be to lead that many people into God's presence. Amen? Yes. :)
Anyways, feel free to check out the classes I took. I recommend you enroll in some classes at a community college just for fun. :) I have always wanted to take a comparative religions course to learn more about "the other side" lol. Maybe I will sometime soon who knows. :) And I would love to take swimming again. I learned so much about all the different strokes in that PE class at Biola. It was so fun! My best memories from Biola were in that swimming class and singing in the Biola Chorale by far! We rocked man lol. Singing with them was like singing with the angels in heaven. :)

People hearing Trumpets?
Check this out....people hearing a trumpet-like sound all over the world coming from the sky it would seem.....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sG9Mjx-Ca-M
This would go along with the millions of dead fish all over the world as that is the second "trumpet," fish dying from the sea. I always wondered if we would hear literal trumpets according to the Revelation prophecy. Pretty interesting stuff for sure :) And very exciting!
If this is all true then the count down has already begun.
If this is all true we are already IN the 7 year tribulation.
If this is all true the rapture will happen when the last trumpet sounds, which could be sooner than we think.
Praise Jesus! Come Lord Jesus Come! :) Amen? Amen. :)
Get ready. Make Jesus Lord of your life. You may not have much more time. Get right with God!
"The truth shall set you free." God give us wisdom. Amen. :)

Videos
Here is a video I made about my last blog..... :)

Interesting video….signs/news video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0OP6M8NUWM
Massive animal death videos….
Think of Rev. 8 as you watch this...
The
Trumpets
6 "Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to
sound them.
7 The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and
fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the
earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green
grass was burned up.
(the fires in Australia)
8 The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a
huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned
into blood, 9 a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a
third of the ships were destroyed.
(massive amounts of fish are dying
all over the world)
10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star,
blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the
springs of water— 11 the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of
the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become
bitter."
(this may be what is next? sadly :(
Economic Recession
The current recession in America began right when I graduated from college, oddly enough, around 2007.
It was sad indeed to graduate, to have finally gotten my long awaited B.A., into a world that now did not need my skills, it seemed. In a world where good jobs almost no longer exist. It was very sad indeed.
I could have gotten a second degree in nursing and then may have been ok but as it was I could not find an amazing job.
But I think most people are having a hard time with that.
At one job I had working with troubled youth we had a lawyer working there who simply couldn't find work as a lawyer. How odd, I thought.
There are soooo many people graduating now who can't find work. People who find their degrees to be completely useless to them. I know, I worked at a student loan company recently in customer service. I constantly heard the complaint, "Why should I have to make payments on an education that did nothing for me." All I could tell them was, "I hear you. I know exactly how you feel." lol :)
I had a friend go for her Masters in English, which I had planned to do, but now is not using the extra degree at all.
I have thought for a long time, what on earth was the point of my going to college? Why can't I find this amazing job that my high school teacher promised would be there once I got a college degree? lol
Now it's not a B.A. that means anything because everyone has one. Now it's a Masters. But even that doesn't do much for people it seems.
Because we have sold most of our businesses to other countries. Very little is made in the U.S. anymore. America has turned into a ghost town essentially.
Most people are living off unemployment and welfare and it's like we have accepted our defeat. We have folded. We are giving up.
This is also why I think we must be nearing the end of the world, or at least I am hoping we are, because I don't see a future for America or any other country in the world really.
Every country in the world is in extreme debt. But to whom? The bankers I guess. Very odd.
So where is the world headed? Not to anything good I imagine. Things are just going to get worse. The recession is never going to end. We may be entering a world wide famine, according to the next seal in Revelation. So stock up on food while you can if you're reading this. Buy tons of beans and rice and water because I think things are about to get really bad.
No one knows the day or the hour but Jesus said when you see figs appearing on the trees you know that the season is near.
There are signs all over the world that most choose to ignore but they are there regardless. Animals dying in mass. People hearing weird noises coming from the sky it would seem. Tsunamis, earthquakes, storms.
I think in about 2 months in June the two witnesses prophesied about in Rev. will come on the scene in Jerusalem, Moses and Elijah reincarnated somehow. I'm serious. I know it sounds crazy but I think all this is just around the corner. And I think Obama will be revealed to be the anti-Christ in about 2 months and he will reign as the anti-Christ for 42 months according to Rev., that's 3.5 years, almost a full presidential term. He, Obama, will reign as ruler of the world, which is completely feasible given the power he already has over so many things.
The end is coming soon. I just know it. I know this all sounds crazy but I think this is right on.
In light of all that....
Are you ready? That is the question. Is Jesus Lord of your life? I hope so. I hope God will save as many as possible before the end.
Get right with God now. Don't waste time. If you are Christian or were, check yourself to make sure you still are.
Like the parable of the prodigal son, if the son would have died when he was away, when he walked away from the Father, being God, I believe he would have gone to hell. Do you know for sure you are going to heaven? If not, make sure. Are you bearing fruit?
Jesus said, "You shall know them by their fruit." Check yourself. Are you in the faith? Have you "fallen from grace" as Paul calls it? Then come back. Make sure you come back before it's too late.
If you are still in the faith then persevere, because times are about to get a lot worse. Brace yourself. I'm serious.
May God be with us and help us to be strong. Amen. :)
Grace and peace be with you all.

God is Good
Work has been great and married life has been great. :)
I absolutely love the little one year olds I work with. That is the cutest age I think!
They come with some challenges but they are so worth it lol.
I hope the world doesn't end as soon as I was thinking in my Rev. study videos as it'd be nice to have a family with Ben. But God's will be done of course. :)
I hope all is well with all of you who read my blog!
May God be with you and pour out grace and peace on you and everyone you know.
God bless! :)
